Erik Fox-Jackson - Graphic Artist
My name is Erik Fox-Jackson – I have been an Artist for my whole life and a Graphic Designer for almost a decade. My passion for the arts led me from an Associate's in Graphic Design, to a Bachelor's in Visual Communication and then all the way to my Master's in Art Education. It's always been important to me to express myself through art, but it almost became more important to help others express themselves through the arts.
I continued to help others express themselves through visual identity and find their visual voice. Art direction and designing let me help many companies and individuals represent themselves visually. Teaching in the classroom and private lessons helped me show other people how to find their own visual vocabulary and help them create.
I've always had a passion to create things. As an avid maker I express a love for all types of art; 2D, 3D, Writing, Film and beyond. From the expressive to the interactive – from functional to fun, I've always been obsessed with seeing the creation of artwork.
There's nothing more satisfying than learning how to create something you saw in your head. My love for creation keeps me exploring new techniques. Digital or traditional: I will find a solution to any problem. As an artist I explore logical and extravagant solutions and see where they overlap.
Outside of my personal life where I explore fun art techniques - I've worked professionally preparing art for Print and working with interactive design. In addition, I've helped students from 7 years old to 50 years old improve their artistic abilities – even if they felt they had none before we began. If you'd like to learn more you can go look at my Resume/CV.
